Disable comments

Post by jcasares »

I might be missing something but this is the behaviour we have:

1. We can disable from both client and web, but only web requests for a comment to be added.

2. We can only check the disable comment from the client, not the web.

Is this right? When it will be corrected if so?

Regards.

What exactly "client"? Remote Control Console (RCC)?
Version?
When it will be corrected if so?
Click menu Options -> Behavior, mark "Request for comment when test gets disabled" option.

Quote from the manual:
Request for comment when test gets disabled
With this option enabled HostMonitor will request comment every time operator disables test item(s). However operator may continue operation without entering any information (keep comment field empty).

Yes, I meant RCC.

Thank you for the information. That option was disabled and I understand the comment could be left empty.

Regarding reading that comment in the web interface. Is there any way?

Regards.

It will be really welcomed, and in line with a more powerful web interface.
