I am using HostMon3.30, I am excited by it's tests, but I cannot find one for "uptime." I have a mixture of Novell/NT/Linux servers and need to be able to tell their time.
Please advise if this is available and I'm just not looking in the correct place. If the feature is not available, do you have any plans to offer it anytime soon?
Thanks.

SaleemNET,

You can use "PING" or "TCP Connection" to monitor uptime of the server. If basic "is the server up or down" monitoring is all you need then simply use the "PING" test. If your novell servers are running TCP/IP then this would be the appropriate solution to monitor all servers regardless of operating system. (I'm assuming your NT and Linux boxes are utilizing TCPIP)

Thanks,
Mark

Probably SaleemNet needs to check System Up Time, time that the computer has been running since it was last started. Am I right? I think you can use SNMP test, OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0 represents system up time.
