I configured Hostmon to monitor traffic; Alert if >6, the unit selected is Mbits/Sec. Hostmon will alert and change to red when it detects 3.5 Mbits/sec. Am I choosing the wrong units in a 9 Mbits/Sec circuit?
Please give a primer on how to correctly monitor traffic in the following scenario:
T1
512K
768K
4 T1s
6 T1s
all frame-relay.
Thank you.

Wow, you exported 101 test item. Which one works incorrectly?
BTW: You may export single test item using "Export selected test" option
Also, as I see you are monitoring many DHCP servers using Service test method. Probably new DHCP test utility will be useful for you:

Are you sure HostMonitor displays "Bad" status and "3.5 Mbit" in Reply field? May be it shows "Bad" status and "3.5 MB" reply?
If options located on Misc page in the Options dialog tells HostMonitor always use KB/MB units, then HostMonitor shows reply in MB units even if you chose Mbit units in Test Properties dialog.
In other words HostMonitor may use Mbits for comparision and MB for Reply field.
That's normal behaviour. You may set another options:
- Display traffic using Kbit / Mbit units
- Select units considering test settings (threshold value)
