The status of remote tests (NT-Log-Files / Services / CPU) changes very often (all 5 minutes, when I check these tests) from 'ok' to 'unknown' and back from 'unknown' to 'ok'. I generate for the status 'good' and 'bad' e-mails, so I receive all 10 minutes an e-mail 'test ok'. (HostMonitor version 3.56) |

Why changes the status every times HM checks the services and NT-Log-Files from 'ok' to 'unknown' (and the next time from 'unknown' to 'ok'). I want receive so many mails for nothings. |

Uncheck the option to "Treat unknown status as bad" for the test and you will only get mail when the status is tested as bad. |

Yes, but I will receive a message when a service is stopped (or crashed and the status changes to 'bad') and a message when the status changes from 'bad' to 'ok'.
To uncheck the option "Treat unknown status as bad" helps only for the mail from 'ok' to 'unknown' but not for the status-change from 'unknown' to 'ok'.

If you only want a notification when the service goes from ok to bad, just don't use the good action.
If you only want a good notification when it was bad you can use the depency for the good action (Action depends on "bad" one). |
