Hello,

Is HostMonitor capable of monitoring a NT service on a Server in a DMZ, or should it be installed on the Server itslelf ?

Service test needs RPC. As I know RPC uses dynamic port mapping, it can use different ports above 1024. So, better install HostMonitor inside DMZ.
