I would like check a text file for the current date. Your application allows for the use of macro translation for the file name. How can I use that same type of functionality to check the contents of the file for the current date? |

I think you can use Script test (http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mframe.htm#tests.htm#script) to execute simple VB Script or Java Script (http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/script56/html/js56jslrfjscriptlanguagereference.asp).
Or you can create very simple command line application and use External test to perform the test (http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mframe.htm#tests.htm#execheck)
