Hello !
When I From a HMScript calls a .BAT-file and in the .BAT-file has the following command for listing the files in a folder, I get only the 8.3 name, why ?
c:winntsystem32cmd /c dir /b > aa.txt
Regards
Sven

I cannot reproduce this problem (tried on Windows 2000 Professional). What Windows do you use? NT 4.0? 2000? XP? Does HostMonitor started as application or as service?
Truth to say I don't think this problem related to HostMonitor. Probably some "design features" of cmd.exe

Try to rename your batch file to .cmd and see if the problem still exists (assuming you run with nt4.0 or higher, otherwise this is the way it works). |
