I'm using Windows 2003 SP2 and HM 9.18
We monitor a series of Windows File & Print servers / Domain controllers for the existance of a specific file by using the Folder/File Availability test and a UNC path to the specific file \\serverFQN\monitor$\monitor.txt
The test seems to be working ok, but I am getting the following error in the ConnMgr.log file each time the test runs.
Quote: | [date time] Sys Resource:\\{ServerName}\monitor$\monitordoc.txt Login: {domain account name} Connection error #1203: No network provider accepted the given network path. |
I can enter the path to the file and open it using the same account that HM uses from the Start-Run or the command line, with no errors.
There are no errors being reported in the event logs.
Is this a problem?
How do I fix the log errors? |

You may specify Resource (UNC) in Connection Manager like the following:
\\serverFQN\monitor$
instead of
\\serverFQN
This should correct error messages. |
