Hi all,
in the folder properties we can set an "Folder specific Agent".
That makes it a lot easier when we copy or move a test to other folders.
Question: How can I set a "Folder specific Master test" ?
Thanks

You may use folder-level variables. E.g. set variable fvar_master = MasterTestName
then use expression for dependant tests
('%::%fvar_master%::SimpleStatus%'=='UP')

It works, thanks.
But the dependant tests reacts a lot slower than the other tests which have the master-test directly configured.
These tests change nearly immediately from "Wait for master" to "Ok" or "Bad"
The "Expression based test" only changes after the next test-interval.
So that's not optimal.
Do you plan to implement a Folder specific Option like the Folder specific Agent ? |

What version of HostMonitor do you use?
Are you using "Recheck dependant test items when master test status has been changed" option?

Correct, this option does not apply to "depends on expression" items.
We will check how it can be improved...
