Post subject: Sending SMS alerts
Hello
we have an SMS modem from company Multitech that we want to use to send alerts via SMS in case a critical server fails and alerts need to reach the admins quickly.
This is the model:
https://www.multitech.com/documents/publications/user-guides/S000710--QuickCarrier-USB-D-MTD-MNA1-User-Guide.pdf
Can we use it in Host Monitor to send alerts via SMS?
Is there a quick start guide that could point us in the right direction?
Thanks

We did not test such modem.
May be it will work, there are AT+CMGF, AT+CMGS commands..
