Could the ability to specify a security context (userid/password) be added for the External Program Test? Also need the ability to set this context within the import file.
Also need the ability to set userid/password from import file for UNC test. |

Set username and password for the UNC test is not a problem. There are update http://www.ks-soft.net/download/hm319e.zip
Added parameters "UserName", "Password".
Changing a security context is a problem. I think application have enough permissions to change security context when its executed under local system account (as a service) or under administrator account. In both cases you don't need to change security context: under administrator account process already has all necessary permissions; when you start HostMonitor as a service you can use "Logon as" option and specify any existing account.
However I will check documentation, may be I am wrong.

If running under local system it has all permissions locally but nothing remotely. If I could tell it to fire up the external process in another security context I can have the external tests do things to remote systems. |
