Hey
I wasn recently adding our network kit to the list for HM to monitor. I keep saving my changes just in case and shore enough the box crashed. When i rebooted and loaded HM again i had lost a few hosts i had added but i had lost the alert profiles that i have setup (e.g. email after x many times, custom ones i had put in) Is this a little bug as i thought by saving the list it woul save the profiles?

its seems to be working now. I want to run 2 instances of HM at the same time though is this a problem in putting the .html files in the startup folder??

What version of HostMonitor do you use? In old versions you can lose new tests when you start 2 instances of HostMonitor, make changes in 1st copy, save changes, close 1st copy, after this close 2nd copy. This problem was fixed in version 3.18 or 3.19 (I don't remember exactly).
Also you can lose changes when you start HostMonitor as service and "discard all changes" option is selected. To save changes automatically use "When service is being stopped: save changes in HML file" option on Service page in the Options dialog.
