License code for HM version 8.00beta

I'm in the same position. We purchased the enterprise version in June 1997 (free lifetime upgrades at that time) and now I have upgraded to v8 and I find that I have to pay for a new license key, No way am I paying for that.

If you are holder of Enterprise license with "Lifetime updates" option, just send request to sales@ks-soft.net and we generate new license for you at no cost. Please, do not forget to provide you Registration Name and/or Order ID.

H'm.. 1st version of HostMonitor was released in 2001. If you ordered something in 1997, it can be IP-Tools.
However we cannot find any order from your company until 2007.

1) In 2007 you have ordered Enterprise license without LifeTime updates option. Gary already sent order details to your e-mail address.
Enterprise license allows you to update software and install new releases within 12 months after purchase. I think its clearly described on our web site. Its hard to miss this big table http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/regmon.htm#newprice

2) Normally HostMonitor checks your registration codes and warn you when you need new codes BEFORE actual update, unless you have disabled "Update check" option that is located on Misc page in the Options dialog. In such case you may use menu Help->Update check to verify license before update.

3) You don't have to pay. You may use old version of HostMonitor for unlimited time.
If you want to use new version of HostMonitor, then yes you should pay. However you may purchase update with 50% discount. Its described on our web site as well: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/regmon.htm#upgrades

So, we don't hide anything and we do not change the rules.
That's why I do not understad what are you complaining about?
