RMA: Solaris Sparc, UNC reported values inconsistent

Post by adminsmc »

Howdy,
Hostmonitor 5.28Beta (Windows Server)
Hostmonitor 5.70 (I just upgraded it in case, same results)
RMA Solaris Sparc 1.22 (Solaris 9 and Solaris 10, same problem)

I'm getting odd reply values for RMA connections with the UNC test.
The reply values are very low for some filesystems, example from Solaris 9,
# df -h (some entries removed for brevity)
Filesystem size used avail capacity Mounted on
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0 1.4G 82M 1.3G 6% /
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s3 472M 3.3M 421M 1% /opt
/dev/md/dsk/d1 17G 9.7G 6.7G 59% /iplanet
/dev/md/dsk/d0 236G 89G 144G 39% /datastor

1.5G 205M 1.3G 14% /home/adminloc

HM UNC test reports -
/ with 357mb free
/datastor with 29gb free
/iplanet with 2037mb free
/opt with 237mb free

Solaris 10 machine as follows -
# df -h (entries removed for brevity)
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s5 48G 11G 37G 23% /disk0
/dev/dsk/c0t1d0s7 72G 46G 25G 65% /disk1
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s3 9.6G 241M 9.3G 3% /usr/local
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s4 4.8G 1.4G 3.4G 29% /var

HM UNC reports -
/disk0 6037mb free
/disk1 9050mb free
/usr/local 1212mb free
/var 606mb free

Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Doug

Problem disappeared when you recompiled agent on Solaris 10, right? It looks like some library incompatibility.
If somebody else have the same problem, please send request for source codes to support@ks-soft.net
