When I start up HostMonitor, I get an error message during the startup, when the status says "Tools Forms", a message pop-ups that says "System Read Error".
Anyone else see this? Anyone know what is wrong, and how to fix?
Thanks. |

Its not good. This message is displayed by the OS, and it means Windows cannot read some part of hostmon.exe file. As I understand it appears when HM tries to read resources. I don't know exactly why Windows cannot read file but I think you should install HM on different location. Probably system utility chkdsk with command line parameter "/R" (Locates bad sectors and recovers readable information) can help in your situation. If you use Windows 9x/ME, use scandisk utility.
