All,
I have HostMonitor on trial right now and so far am very pleased! I have noticed that there seems to be a difference when I try to test remote NT services from a Windows 98 PC and when I try to test remote NT services from a Windows 2000/Pro PC. So far I have not been able to get the Windows 98 PC to be able to test the remote NT services, but I can very nicely when setup on the Windows 2000/Pro PC. Both are logging in to the Windows Domain. Is this a limitation of running it on a Windows 98 PC?

Thanks for any help you can provide and thanks for this very nice product. I think it will make our Help Desk staff very happy!

Thanks,
Greg

I now see the message/warning at the bottom of the NT/Service check page indicating that it only works on NT/2000/XP. Sorry, I didn't notice it before.

FYI,

Yes, many tests cannot work on Windows 95/98/ME:
- Service test
- Process test
- Performance Counter test
- NT Event Log test
Its because Microsoft did not implement many features those was implemented in Windows NT.
