Is there a way to report graphically
on Interface Octets (In+Out) simultaneosly
for 8 devices (SNMP devices) on daily, weekly, monthly bases in one report? Each device has about 16-24 ports. Is there any
utility (PC/NT based) that can do that. No
other stats are necessary.
Thanks for your help! |

HostMonitor can record information that you need to the log (file or ODBC data source), but it cannot create reports that you need.
Unfortunately I don't know program that can help you. However its not hard to create reports using just several SQL queries and some report system that can display charts.

Allthough it would be nice to have Hostmonitor makeing SNMP based trafic graps You can use STG who's a stand-alone program of the well known MRTG trafic analyzer!
Anyway, Hostmonitor should have this build-in... not? |

I recommend MRTG as well. We have it configured to create gaphs for approximately 347 different interfaces across several devices (switches, routers, firewall, etc). It works great but is CPU intensive for this much monitoring.

You will need to install perl which can be found here: http://www.activestate.com |
