Logging not recording entries at midnight

I have my default logging is set to write records when status changes + at midnight but when I was looking at some tests recently to see what the midnight results have been I found that there are not log entries for weeks (test has been successful for that time).
I am mainly interested in some of my disk capacity tests to see tends.
Any suggestion for what my not be correct?
I am running HM 9.32

Problem not confirmed, logging works correctly.
RogerSpraggon asked about Quick Log that should not keep this sort of records - HostMonitor saves limited amount of quick log records for importand information
