|
|
Hi
i just want to tell you that the HM vmware checks are NOT working anymore with the new vmware vsphere 6
i get :
Code: |
Service Unavailable (Failed to connect to endpoint: [N7Vmacore4Http20NamedPipeServiceSpecE:0x1f073448] _serverNamespace = /mob _isRedirect = false _pipeName =/var/run/vmware/proxy-mob) |
i hope you will find a solution for this.
keep up the good work.
if i can help you with some testing ... just ask / email me.

We will check this but it does not look like HostMonitor error message, this error description provided by VMWare.
Could you connect using web browser?

FOUND THE SOLUTION !!!!
vSphere MOB is disabled by default in ESXi 6.0
thats the solution !!!
or try this:
Listing the ESXi Advanced Setting using vim-cmd:
vim-cmd hostsvc/advopt/view Config.HostAgent.plugins.solo.enableMob
Configuring the ESXi Advanced Setting to true:
vim-cmd hostsvc/advopt/update Config.HostAgent.plugins.solo.enableMob bool true
many thanks for all reply

Update - and the same holds true for ESXi 8.x - logon to the host(s) and enable the same module as in previous versions.
