Post by vidyagana »

Hi,

I have installed RMA Manager on one server and RMA-Win on another. I have configured the agent on RMA-Win and trying to add it to the agent list in RMA Manager. When I try to add the agent, I am getting errors in failureaudit file on RMA-Win server as shown below:

[11/3/2005 4:32 PM] 10.1.3.237 Connection rejected
[11/3/2005 4:32 PM] 10.1.3.237 Connection rejected
[11/4/2005 9:15 AM] 10.1.3.237 Connection rejected
[11/4/2005 9:17 AM] 10.1.3.237 Connection rejected
[11/4/2005 9:17 AM] 10.1.3.237 Connection rejected

I dont know what to debug. Please help.

Thanks.

Please start rma_cfg utility on system where RMA is running and check "Accept connections from following addresses" list. Add IP address of HostMonitor to the list or switch to "Accept connections from any IP address" option

Great Alex that worked, but I am having a similar setup in another place and when I am trying to add the agent I am getting a message "Error: Connection error". The failureaudit file is not getting created. Please help.

Thanks.

The failureaudit file is not getting created
It means agent does not receive request. Do you have installed any firewall or antivirus software?
BTW: Windows has built-in TCP filetr. Could you check its settings? port 1055 must be opened
