restarting services

hy to all

i don't understand the action of starting a service on an server...

when i configure a action profile, i also have to set the computer and the service name. so now, can i use this action profile only one time exactly for the server i configuring? have i to made for each server i want restart the iis service a action profile? thans for information and help.

Answer located just one topic below.

As I understand you have set of tests those monitor your services. If service XX fails, HM must restart service XX. Right?
In this case you can use the same action profile for all tests. Just specify %ServiceComp% and %ServiceName% macro variables in the action properties dialog (use these macros instead name of target system and name of service).
