Status Duration variable not reset on File Exists test

Post by greyhat64 »

As I was playing with %CurrentStatusDuration_sec% I ran across an anomaly:

AHM v7.72
Test: File exists (C:\boot.ini)xxxxxxxxixxxxxStatus: OK
(Change test to look for C:\boot.bad)xxxxxStatus: Bad

%CurrentStatusDuration_sec% never resets - counter continues to increment at each iteration of the test.
Another test, a shell script test, resets the variable upon status change, so I know it's at least working in some instances.

Why? Are there test methods that do not reset this counter? Are there other method/variable combinations like this that I should be aware of?

We cannot reproduce the problem.
Where do you use this variable? e-mail body? some expression? May we see your configuration files?

Alex,
Thanks for the quick reply. I'll have to get back with you on this - other priorities right now. :-?
