can I assign test-templates to subfolders?

Post by admax »

Servus !

Is it possible to work with a kind of "test-templates" or "folder-fixed-Agents"?

e.g.:
I have a template for "defrag c:" with logging to "C:\%Agent%_defrag_c.txt"

I want to run this test on 10 different RMA-Agents. Each PC running an Agent has it's own Subdirectory.

Is it possible to "assing" a test to a folder and the test uses the folderbased preselected agent? Later changes on a test-template would automatically effect all assigned test at the subfolders.

Perhaps you could add a Folder-Variable "%Fixed_Agent%". If it's set, all related tests in this folder use the predefined agent.

You cannot use variable instead of manually selected agent. On the other hand, you may change agent for many selected test items in 10 seconds.
May be we add such option in future versions...
