CMS Error 500

Post by Alberto Manrique »

Hi, I have an error in Hostmonitor 8.14 when I try to send SMS messages.

Somebody knows how can I resolve or have any idea?

I have using GSMcenter to make tests and the log is the following:

As I know "CMS ERROR 500" is a generic "unknown error" response, so when a modem returns this response, it can be tough to determine why. Often this response is returned when a modem doesn't have sufficient signal strength to find the operator.
However Alberto says signal is not a problem in this case...

Modem is HUAWEI E220 USB modem, right?

Solution

Post by Alberto Manrique »

Well, the problem has been solved, the solution is the following: the desktop program from our provider where we have to configure the modem HUAWEI E220 have to be off, because it causes conflict with Hostmonitor 8.14 and it can't be opened the com ports if this program is opened.

Thanks ¡¡¡¡
