Since upgrading to this version from 7.x we have not been getting email alerts from host monitor. I can telnet to the SMTP port of the mail server from several workstations, but I do not see any attempts logged in the system log.
I set the smtp server to a server on our own network as a test and I don't see any connections to it when I force a test to fail and trigger an email.
Any ideas? What info do you need posted?

We checked your settings - alerts were disabled by operator.
In order to resume alerts simply click "Enable alerts" button located on tool bar.
Note: If several persons have access to HostMonitor, you may delegate different set of rights for each operator. E.g. you may provide "start/stop monitoring" permission to single person.
