RCC connect dialog gets in the way

Post by meppyman »

Is there a way to hide the RCC connect dialog box when connected? I would expect to only see this dialog before connecting or after closing the RCC console (and maybe then have a settings option to close the RCC completely when closing the console).

It gets in the way on my desktop and I keep coming across it when moving windows around.

In relation to the option to close it completely when you close the console, on my machine I get an application error if I shutdown or logoff and forget to close the RCC connect dialog box first:
The instruction at 0x66d8473f referenced memory at 0x66d8473f. The memory could not be read.

As I remember we tried to hide the form in 1st versions. Not sure why we changed behavior, may be there were some problems, may be we want the log to be visible  I will check...

I think we fixed this problem in version 8.28 ( RCC 3.28 ) that should be available soon.

OK cool, if it could be minimised to the notification area that would be groovy (wish list?).
