Post by MirkoW »

Hi,

I have created some Shell Scripts thats running on a local RMA Agent on a Server. After i have reinstall Windows in 64 Bit, i have installed the new RMA Agent. but i receive only follow error Message:

Agent error: Cannot read data

but when im running this command from command line on this server, so i receive the needet results.

I have tested it with RMA-Agent 3.97 - 4.00

"Agent error: Cannot read data"?
I don't think HostMonitor can show such error message. Perhaps "RMA error: Cannot read data"?

Looks like system cannot execute script within specified timeout. You may increase timeout specified for Shell Script test item and check timeout specified in "Agent Connection Parameters" window

Hi,

i found the reason for this Problem.

RMA running as system-User but this user have permission-problems to run a wmi-query.
After i have switch the user of the RMA-service to a admin user, so it works. I don't know why, because the same server with a 32bit w2k3-server works with the system-user. :-?

"Local system" account cannot use Windows network functions so RMA will not be able to perform tests against remote systems (tests like CPU Usage, Performance Counter, Process, etc) until you provide account with admin rights.
