Good Day all,
I would like to know if it is possible to run two seperate profiles at the same time on hostmonitor for alerting purposes. We currently have our system setup to send us email alerts 24/7 but now we would like the system to send email alerts after hours 5pm - 8am to a seperate email address, I'm not sure if anyone has attempted this but any help or suggestions would be gladly appreciated thanks.
Almost forgot we currently using hostmonitor version 6.82.
After hours monitoring
Hi,
I'm not sure, if this was already available with 6.82:
There is an option, in the action properties dialog, where you can use the time restriction
see here: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/acti ... properties
Regards,
Martin

Yes, "Time restriction" option for actions is available in version 6.82
================
Time restriction
Schedules can be applied to actions the same way they were used for tests. With schedules, actions can be customized per time of the day. For instance, an action profile can be set up to page both the IT manager and the network administrator during regular office hours, and to page the administrator alone the rest of the time, while doing nothing else but writing to the log on weekends. To make this possible, simply check the "Time restriction" option and select an appropriate schedule.

Alex
