Web services

Post by Killerbe1 »

Hi,

I have enabled the web interface services. Created a operator and placed 0.0.0.0 as IP in the white list.
But when i try to connect to the web interface, the credentials are not accepted and the website states: "Authorization failed. Unacceptable IP address" Can i find some logging in regards to the web interface?

When i try to access the web interface from the server itself i get: Authorization failed. Invalid user name or password.
I have verified the credentials that are entered are the correct ones..

May we see your settings? Please send all *.LST and *.INI files from HostMonitor and WebService folder to support@ks-soft.net.
What version of HostMonitor and Web Service do you use?

Regards
Alex

You cannot connect using "admin" account because you enabled IP address range "192.168.2.1-192.168.200.1" while using address 127.0.0.1 for connection from Web Service to HostMonitor. So, you need to specify 127.0.0.1 for user account as well
As I see "Manager", "Technician" and "webuser" can login to HostMonitor thru Web Service without any problems.

Regarding "0.0.0.0" IP address you have added to watchdog account - you forgot to mark this item so its inactive.
