Info IBM Severaid with snmp
Info IBM Severaid with snmp
Hi,
I'm trying to monitor an IBM Raid controller with hostmonitor and snmp from a remote server.
I've already found a mib file with all of the iod.
http://www.oidview.com/mibs/2/IBM-SERVERAID-MIB.html
Now this doesn't seem to work. I try a SNMP-get, but i always get a message that there's isn't such a name.
I've been searching and searching but haven't found anything useful.
Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.167.2.1.2.1.1.3 = ibmServeRaidModel?
This is item of the table, this means you have to add index of this item.
If you don't know what indexes are present in your table, you may use MIB Browser Get Next function

I wanna monitor several things such as ibmServeRaidModel (1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.167.2.1.2.1.1.3), ibmServeRaidBiosVersion (1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.167.2.1.2.1.1.5) and some other things.
I've downloaded an IBM mib file cause apparently those oid aren't standard included. Yet after importing that mib file using mibbrowser i still can't use those oid, still get the error "No Such Name"

I already told you - you are using wrong OID.
