SMS alerts failing ... config appears correct

We are using Hostmon 7.5. We are using SMS alerting using a GSM modem. Test messages will work however regular alerts do not come through.

We have configured the settings as follows:

Com Port: COM1
Baud rate: 9600
Modem Type: Maestrom 20 GSM
Mode: PDU
PIN: ****
Service Center: +6421123456

The GSM modem in the back of the machine is a Fargo Maestro 20 GSM/GPRS 900/1800. The SIM card is tested and is operational.

When we press the "Test" button (in the options menu) and enter the mobile number the message will go through ok. However when we set the text message to go through on a simple ping failure, the text never arrives.

We know it is not a setting in the alerts profile because the same process works with email.

Can anyone please advise what we might be doing wrong, or if there is a config that we have not activitated?

Its pretty old version.
You may try to update KSGsmXLib.ocx library (located in HostMonitor folder)
New version available at www.ks-soft.net/download/ksgsmxlib15.zip
You should stop HostMonitor, decompress (unzip) ksgsmxlib15.zip, replace
KSGsmXLib.ocx located in HostMonitor folder and start HostMonitor again.

Also could you please check HostMonitor system log file (specified on System Log page in Options dialog)
and SMS log file (specified on SMS:GSM page in Options dialog)?
Any errors?
