Hi,
Why don't we get alerted / provided new licence numbers that works with a new release that requires it?

I would like to receive an E-Mail to explain that we need a new licence number for release # 1234 and a way to get those licences BEFORE i am offered to upgrade by the popup.

Now I lost my time upgrading and I have no monitoring, I will need to revert to an older version :evil:

I want to be added to a newsletter that you would have announcing new releases and warnings of licencing requirements changes.

Also, in the "what's new" pages explaning changes included in the new version, you should add a RED title: New licence required for this version

Reverting to 8.82 did not work either :evil:

Reverted to 8.72 and I could reconnect again, our enterprise has monitonrig.

Normally HostMonitor should check your registration codes and warn you when you need new codes BEFORE actual update, unless you have disabled "Update check" option that is located on Misc page in the Options dialog. In such case you may use menu Help->Update check to verify license before update.
Somehow most of customers never read the manual and does read these HostMonitor messages :(
Also, in the "what's new" pages explaning changes included in the new version, you should add a RED title: New licence required for this version
Its impossible to show such info on web site because different customers have different licenses.
However HostMonitor shows such info. When it checks for updates it checks your license as well. When your registration codes not valid for new version, it shows this using red color, just how you like it.

Please send e-mail request to sales@ks-soft.net or support@ks-soft.net and provide your registration name and/or order number.
We do not publish registration codes on the forum.
Reverting to 8.82 did not work either
Could you please explain what exactly means "not working"?

Not working meant that RCC could not connect to HM amd starting HM Manually I got a message that the reg codes were not good.

re-installing 8.72 recgnised reg codes ok and all came back ok.

Also for reg codes on the forum, don't worry I know you won't publish my serial numbers. :lol:

I will send my e-mail now.

In the mean time, do you have a newsletter that I could receive? I would like to have this to know new releases, news about Ks-Soft and special info like: BTW this new version will not work with your old reg number :lol:

When you install new version without valid codes, it disables RCI interface. When you downgrade to older version, you need to enable this option manualy.
Registration codes should work fine when you downgrade to previous version...

This information is displayed by HostMonitor and RCC when "Update check" option is enabled; this option is enabled by default.
Also you may use menu Help->Update check.
