WMI on aRMA

Post by thomas.mueller@envers.de »

Hello,

I just tried to get information from the WMI-.Explorer about logical Volumes of a remote server. I used Win32_LogicalDIsk and checked to see if the information displayed is correct. It looks like the information I get originates from my local Host-Monitor-server. Although I selected one of our active RMA-agents from the drop-down-menu of the test. How do I get the query to get the data from the aRMA-agent?

Thanks for your help,
Thomas

WMI Explorer helps to build WMI Queries for WMI test. It can connect to remote system (WMI Explorer menu "Action" -> "Connect to host/namespace..."), However it cannot retrieve data from Active RMA agent.
How do I get the query to get the data from the aRMA-agent?
You may manually type WMI Query in "Test properties" dialog, connect to remote system using WMI Explorer menu "Action" -> "Connect to host/namespace..." or build similar query for local system that can query data from remote one.
When WMI Query is set, just select necessary RMA agent (Test by: option of Test properties dialog) to perform the test.
