All questions related to installations, configurations and maintenance of Advanced Host Monitor (including additional tools such as RMA for Windows, RMA Manager, Web Servie, RCC).
I have a test where the option "Treat unknown as bad" is marked. The expected behaviour wolr be that when test gets unknown status, it would appar as "BAD", correct?
If so, for a reason I can´t find, this option is been ignored by hostmon, because test does not change from "unknown" to "bad" status.
Quote from the manual
---------------------------
Treat Unknown status as Bad
With this option enabled, if test results cannot be obtained, actions are triggered by HostMonitor the same way as if the test returned a "Bad" status

Facing a strange problem related to the same subject: I have a test with a bad action to record to a log file. The problem is that even tough the "treat unknown as bad" option is unchecked, every unknown status is recorded to the log file. Any ideas?
What version of HostMonitor do you use?
Please send screen shots with your settings to support@ks-soft.net (test properties dialog, action properties dialog, part of the log).
Probably it was removed by spam filter...
Could you send simple text mail to us? We will provide special e-mail address without any filters and limitations.
We cannot reproduce the problem.
Could you send us a few lines from that specific log file with unknown statuses ?
BTW: We can't send e-mail to your mailbox, because of error from your mail server:
