GPRS modem

To KS-Soft,

Bought Hostmonitor and upgrade to version 8.86, I am looking for GPRS Modem for SMS function, apart from the default modem type (Huawei e220, MultiTech...etc), can I purchase other GPRS model? cause my local computer shops do not have those brand(I am in HK), what model specification I need to look after?

And in Options\SMS:GSM\Modem Type, which type I should choose

There is no particular specification, each model of GSM device have its own set of AT commands. Often GSM devices are compatible with each other, you may try to use similar model of the same manufacturer.
However we cannot guarantee that these similar GSM devices will work correctly.
