I was using the method "Text Log" to check a log file on a drive. This is a perfect method for me, since it interprets only new lines.
But now, the log is only reachable thru a webserver (i.e.
http://Webserver/Logfile.log )
Using the web address as path to the file does not work for "Text Log" and the HTTP Test always parses the whole content, not just the new lines.
Any idea how I can get "Text Log" functionality with a log file on a webserver?

There is no such option.
May be you can install Remote Monitoring Agent on the server?
