All questions related to installations, configurations and maintenance of Advanced Host Monitor (including additional tools such as RMA for Windows, RMA Manager, Web Servie, RCC).
I'm looking to pass a macro variable to a shell script as a parameter, but the variable I want to pass is the address of the RMA agent (IP or our DNS name) - not the friendly name of %agent%.
Is there any way to do this? Basically I want to run a reverse DNS check and I don't see a method for it but I don't want 100 seperate scripts for 100 seperate IPs.
We can add new variable in next version.
But you don't need 100 scripts anyway, HostMonitor allows you to specify any list of parameters for Shell Script within test properties.
