Issue with scheduled reports and Windows 2008 R2

Post by david.matthewson »

Hi Alex & friends..

I know this is a ~known issue~ and I should be able to solve it but I can't and it's driving me nuts! So here I am...

I'm running 9.x on a 2008 R2 as a service, using the local system account. Using credentials manager I can set up a variety of tests to check disk space etc etc.

These work fine and I use SMTP to email alerts. This too works fine.

But if I set up a scheduled report - it doesn't run when HostMon is running as a service. If I run HostMon as an application it works fine.

I guess this is a permissions thing. I've tried running under an NT service account with local admin perms for the server but this does not make things better.

Can anyone suggest where I should start looking to fix?

Thanks

UAC enabled?
What path to report file do you use?
