WMI Explorer hangs

Hi,
When I add a new WMI test and click the "WMI Explorer" button within the test it always hangs and I need to use the Task manager to end the process.

My guess is that this is because the test uses an RMA in a completely different network. If I manually edit the WQL query the tests works as expected and it would be very nice if the WMI Explorer would work like this when using an RMA.
But if it doesn´t support that atleast it shouldn´t hang?

Or am I doing something wrong?

WMI Explorer tries to connect directly to the host, specified in Target host field of Test properties dialog.
What HostMonitor version do you use?
Whay Windows do you use? Service pack?

For how long it hungs? 10 sec? 5 min?

I have waited atleast 3 min before I stopped the task.
For me that´s about 3 min to long without giving me any notice on whats going on.

We cannot reproduce complete halt so lets back to 1st question:
- Windows?
- Service Pack?
- WMI Explorer version?

However when inaccessible host requested, API may return results (errors) after several minutes (up to 2 min I think).
We will check how this can be improved...

Is this something that you can consider implementing?

The Hostmonserver that I´m running WMI explorer on:
2008R2 SP1
Hostmon v9.82
WMI Explorer v1.16.
