Agent not Found Error

Post by jromariz »

Hi Alex,

Using HM 5.60 and found a strange error when I try to edit a disk space test executed by a remote agent. The test seems to be working but when I try to edit it I get this error:

Agente not found. Probably record was removed by remote operator.

I´m getting this error on both HM and RCC. The agent is running and seems to be ok. I checked with RMA Manager and the agent is responding!!

Regards,

Jromariz.

Alex,

Still facing problems with RRC but with HM it´s fixed. Seems that only with disk space tests when I double click the test on the RCC I get: Error:Connection Error.

Just bouble-checked and the agent is the new one. Checked again the problem with diskspace tests and it is still happening.

Agent? Or Console (RCC)?
May I get access from my RCC to your HostMonitor?

Sorry,

RCC. Unfortunatly HM is not connected to any external network, so i believe you won´t be able to access it. Another information about the problem is that after the error message appears, the test opens for edition. I´ve made some adittional testing and found that only drive space tests performed by remote agents generate the error.

Hope this will help.

I think I know what is happening. Drive Free Space test is configured to use some agent (RMA), right? RCC displays this error because it cannot connect to the agent. RCC tries to establish connection because it needs to display list of drives on remote system.
So, if RMA located behind some firewall and IP address of RCC system is blocked, it normal RCC behavior.

Alex,

Again you´re correct. RCC needs to communicate with RMA. Once the communication an permissions to connection between RCC and RMA are set, no more problems.

Thanks for helping,
