i want to see if the internet "pipe" is not to busy to our customers
and offcourse see what thier "speed" is.

because with the demo 8 installed i still have the same issue.
Why cant you say that some test can not be performed with HostMonitor...

No, version 8 does not provide any special solution for such purpose.
If ping test is not good for you, could you please explain what exactly do you need? Its better to use Wish List forum...
As I understand you want to send large amount of data to specific host using specific protcol ICMP/UDP/TCP and check speed?
In general case such test cannot be performed by single piece software (HostMonitor) while its possible to implement such test using HostMonitor and RMA (for TCP traffic only) or use standard Echo service (if such server is installed on your system).
In any case such test will work very similar to ping test. So probably the only important difference - you need to see "speed" like 10MB instead of time like 100ms in Reply field of the test? Then we probably can add such option for Ping test.

Because we always trying to help and find solution that will work. If you prefer simple answers, Ok - this test cannot be performed by HostMonitor.Why cant you say that some test can not be performed with HostMonitor...
