Upgrading to the latest version of Host Monitor

Another quick question here: when upgrading from 1.78 to 8.06 (possibly when upgrading in general), is it a direct upgrade where all settings and monitoring are preserved, or do we have to uninstall, install the new version, and rebuild all settings and monitoring?

In general case, everything should goes smoothly. However, versio 1.78 is pretty old. So, we recommend to backup all *.hml, *.lst and *.ini files from HostMonitor folder or even backup entire HostMonitor folder. Just in case.
So, in order to upgrade your HostMonitor, you just should start installation program and select "Update/Repair" installation mode: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mfra ... tm#Install

However, your regisration key may not work with the newest version. Please, send your Registration Name to support@ks-soft.net in order to resolve license issues.
