I've been using HM for a while now. Both evaluation version and the enterprise. But it's has let me down sometimes. And sometimes on critical servers such as mail servers.
For unknown reason, HM stopped monitoring. And there's no inidication in the eventlog regarding HM or it's service.
Anyone can shed some light on how to prevent this or what the cause may be??

Do you mean HostMonitor is still running but does not perform tests? Do you see "Start" button on toolbar? If yes, this means somebody stopped monitoring. Click "Start" button to resume monitoring
Note 1: Evaluation version may show registration dialog and suspend monitoring until you close that dialog window.
Note 2: If several persons have access to HostMonitor, you may delegate different set of rights for each operator. E.g. you may provide "start/stop monitoring" permission to single person.
