Which Protocols uses the Hostmonitor

HI,

I need some Informations about the Hostmonitor please.
For Example:
Which Protocols uses the Hostmonitor to submit Test Informations between the Active RMA Agent and Hostmonitor? I need this, and when possible detailed Informations about " How does the Hostmonitor work" for my job training.

HostMonitor uses our own "RMA" protocol that works over TCP connection.

Hi Alex,

ok thank you very much. The RMA protocol is for the connection between the Hostmonitor and the other component. (RMA-Manager, Active RMA etc.)
For example: To get Test results (SNMP) the Hostmonitor uses the SNMP protocol. To send results to the Hostmonitor- Server, Hostmonitor uses the RMA-protocoll.(?) Is it right?

Well, HostMonitor does not send results to HostMonitor.
RMA may send test results to HostMonitor.
Yes, RMA uses SNMP protocol to perform SNMP Get test and it uses "rma" protocol to send test results to HostMonitor.
