NT Event Logs, can it report "Good" instead of &qu

Post by mikepiet »

Hi Alex,

Hope all is well. I am running an alert test of my application event logs to look for all events that relate to a successful backup. While that is working fine, the alerts are always stating "BAD" and this tends to cause cocern among the higher ups who get an email alert stating that the event is "Bad". Is there a way that when the alert runs, it can be indicated to be a "Good" test event?

Thanks,

Michael

What about "Reverse alert" option of the test? If you mark this option, HostMonitor will set "Bad" status when no event found and set "Ok" status when record detected.

PS I think this question relates to "Installation and Configuration" group. Use "Problem and Bugs" group when HostMonitor does not work correctly

Thanks! I will give that a try tonight. I wasn't aware of that setting.

Thanks again!
