When making changes to the "select columns and their visible order" in options, the changes do not seem to take effect (using 3.30). Is there anything else that I need to do besides clicking save? I have tried shutting down and restarting as well. Thanks for your assistance.
What box do you use to change list of columns? left or right? I know some people by mistake use right box that define list of fields for sorting.
Also its possible you have set list of columns for the folder, these settings override global settings.
