1 - I need to generate one report of all the subfolders but one;
2 - I need a second report that includes only the subfolder which was not included on the report # 1 above;
When some folder generates reports for subfolders it includes all subfolders, even if one of the subfolders has "Use folder's own report settings" option. Probably, HM should check subfolders settings... Ok, in next version
Yes, its possible. Use different settings for the folder (it will generate report for all subfolders) and subfolder. Also "Show tests in subfolders" option (located on Interface page in the Options dialog) must be enabled.
Ok, there is special update (just for you at http://www.ks-soft.net/download/hm345.zip
I think I should explain what's changed because HostMonitor has a lot methods to generate reports:
1) "generate reports" action: nothing changed, option "include subfolders" sets the mode
2) HMScript: nothing changed, command "IncludeSubfolders yes|no" sets the mode
3) items in "Reports" menu: nothing changed, all visible tests will be included into the report
4) reports defined in Options dialog: nothing changed, all tests will be included in the reports 5) reports defined in Folder Properties dialog: now HM will include into the report tests from the folder and from all subfolders those inherit report settings from parent folder.
First thank you for been so kind. I just downloaded the new version but still get the same result :
Altought I have set a subfolder to use it's own report profile, it still shows on the master folder report.
I'm I missing something ?
Would it be possible to implement the same change in the generate report action ? The way it is now I have to wait up to 1 minute until I can see the report uptaded.
Let try to explain. I need to have the report of one subfolder alone. When I try to use the "generate report" action, all the folder appears on the report. The only way I found to generate the report of this subfolder alone was to use the "generate report every x minutes" on the subfolder's properties. Hope you'll understand.
