Out of schedule bug

Post by fve »

Hi

I have a schedule 8-12 and the new 7.5 make it possible to run out of schedule task:-)

I have admin right and therefore no problem.

But if a user with minimal right try to run a out of schedule take, HM inform that right is missing??

There are no such specific rights to assign?

Hints?

You just forgot to check the manual
Quote
===============
if operator has permission to configure tests/folders and/or permission to manage schedules then he may use Refresh command to execute tests that should not be performed due to schedule restrictions. Note: HostMonitor and RCC prompts for confirmation before such operation.

Hi

I think it will be good if there are a specific permission option for handling this task. Maybe a new selection box "permit out of schedule task"?

But I'm happy you make so fast implementation of this function

I do not think new permission has much sense because
- if operator has right to modify test settings, he may assign another schedule and perform the test
- if operator has right to modify schedule, he can modify schedule and perform test anyway.
If other words, this new permission is not independent anyway.

Hi

Think you misunderstand me.

I only want the user to manual run test's including out of schedule test.

I think I understand you. However I do not think that user with no rights should be able to spoil statistics by executing tests that should not be executed at this time.
