How are multiple dependencies handled?

Post by greyhat64 »

With the current This test depends on [another test(s)] model it appears to be true only if ALL dependencies meet their criteria. I would like to establish a dependency that says if ANY master test fails perform this test.
Since there is no interface for defining this type of relationship (AND,OR,XOR) between multiple dependency expressions under ...[another test], I assume I'm left with creating an ...[Expression] - Correct?
If so, will the next version at least allow simple selection of [ALL] or [ANY] for ...[another test]? That, I believe, would satisfy most multiple dependency needs AND allow the user the convenience of using the selection interface to pick those dependencies.
Anything more complex than that should fall under the 'expressions' category.

Oops, I just combined a "Wish List" with an "Installation and configuration" question, didn't I? :D

Probably, but not the next version. This is low priority task. We have different plans for version 7.60 and 7.70
