Reactivate alerts after "Acknowledge status and stop..&

Post by AlexL »

When a test enters the BAD status, and I stop alerts by activating "Acknowledge status and stop alerts", how do I reactivate the alerting (before I get a GOOD status)?

Somehow, I couldn't find such an option. Right now I am resorting to a trick: I activate for a short time "Reverse alert".

TIA

There is no such option and I am not sure why such option could be necessary?
If you acknowledge the problem and you have stopped alerts for the test, why do you need to resume alerts?

Here are two cases where I missed this functionality:

- I've acknowledged the Bad status by mistake (it wasn't up to me to do it)

- I've acknowledged the Bad status, tried to correct the problem behind the test's Bad status, but didn't succeed, and wanted be sure that the next shift will be well aware of the problem

Of course, all this is not critical, so that, if you don't think such a function could be useful, just forget about it.

Actually there is such option: you may use HM Script with ResetAcknowledgements <testname> command.
HM Script can be executed as action or it can be started manually using menu File-> Execute script.

Thank you Alex, I've noticed it and I am already using it as a workaround.
